The table tennis tournament was held on the 1st of October 2011 at the squash court in Schaefer Athletic Center. The matches were done double-elimination style to provide ample chance for each of the participants to prove his worth. Out of 20 registrants, only 16 were able to make it to the tournament. It caused some confusion and rearranging of some matches but thankfully everything works out smoothly.

The tournament was joined by 3 non-MASA members from various backgrounds. They were talented people and gave quite a fight against MASA players, ping-pong veterans and newbies alike. This tournament also brought to our attention the talents of some of the MASA members that we haven’t seen before.

In conclusion, the event was able to bring out the spirit of sportsmanship among the members of MASA and the Stevens community in general, and at the same time, form bonds among each other. The excellence of MASA as a student body shines through this event.

First of all, we would like to apologize for the late announcement.  And here we are with the winner and the only winner for the competitions. He created both logo and shirt for MASA. I would like to announce that there are three contestants for the competition. Each of them submitted his logo. As for shirt design, one contestant submitted a design. And don’t jump to conclusion. Although there is only one shirt design available to  us, we need to evaluate all possibilities regarding the shirt design. As for now, nothing has been decided. Our events for Spring 2011 are here. I already uploaded the schedules and you can go to MASA Spring 2011 Calendar (under MASA’s Files tab) to check them. Any question regarding the events, please contact persons in charge of the events. Thank you.

For your information, we currently have two participants for the competition. Both of them submitted the new designs for our club logo. Also, one of them submitted the design for our “going-to-be-released” shirt.  Also, the competition is still open. Please submit your design no later than January 30th. All submissions will be available on the website after the deadline for viewing. Thank you.

As we all know, MASA don’t have its official logo. And we believe that it is time for us to honor our organization with a simple yet beautiful logo. Unfortunately, our e-board members are lacking ideas and they are seeking ideas from our beloved MASA’s members. Therefore, MASA is very pleased to give a present to anyone who can come out with the most creative logo for MASA. In other word, we are having a logo competition!! Here are the details:
