The Malacca night started at 8.30 pm on Saturday after all guests arrived, prominent guests were
Stevens’s president, Dr Harold Raveche, Mrs Edwina Fleming, Mr Zamruni Khalid and also his
officials from the Malaysia Consulate General . The event off to good start with a Zapin dance lead
by Nurhidaya Jamar, class of 2009. It was then followed by traditional Malay martial art called Silat
that was performed before the majestic Sultan and his queen. All of a sudden, pirates from around
Malay archipelago came to challenge Malacca sovereignty, but the gallant warriors of Malacca
nixed the pirates plan which ensured the continued reign of the Sultan.
