Unity Carnival 2008

MASA has taken part in the Unity Carnival 2008. Unity carnival is an annual event hold by Ethnic Students Council as a channel for the students to introduce their traditions and culture. This year, MASA ordered Char Kuew Teow and Mi Mamak from Satay Malaysian Cuisine. We also introduced batu seremban as one of our traditional games.

Irwan was the Project Director who was in charge of the MASA Booth for Unity Carnival 2008.

The food was really good and with no doubt, our food was finished first among of all the booths opened on that they. We also had some Milk Tea and Lychee drinks for people who tried the batu seremban.

A visitor tried to play batu seremban as Apok was trying to show her how to correctly throw the “batu” into mid-air while catching the others.

Besides batu seremban, we also played tali getah but just among ourselves as a way to amuse ourselves.

It was definitely a marvelous day as everyone enjoyed the nice breeze outside while eating good (and free!) food. Enjoy the pictures!
